How to Connect Brevo (SendInBlue) to MailOptimal?
Connecting your Brevo account to MailOptimal is essential for warming up your email account to ensure optimal deliverability and engagement rates. Follow the steps below to set up your Brevo account via SMTP in MailOptimal.

Note:Brevo is an SMTP-only email provider and does not have its own IMAP. Therefore, you need to add another email account's IMAP, such as Gmail, to receive emails/replies. This option does not work with Office365 inboxes as they do not support IMAP.
1. Log in to MailOptimal:
- Navigate to your MailOptimal dashboard.
- Click on 'Add Email Account' and choose the "SMTP" connection method.
2. Configure SMTP Settings:
- SMTP Username: Enter the email address you connected in the "SMTP & API" section on Brevo.
- In Brevo, click your name in the top-right menu and choose "SMTP & API."
- Under the SMTP tab, locate your SMTP password, host, port, and login username.
- SMTP Password: Generate a new SMTP key in Brevo.
- Go to Brevo > SMTP & API > Generate a new SMTP key.
- Name the key, copy it, and paste it into the "Password" field in MailOptimal.
- SMTP Host: Use the SMTP host provided in Brevo.
- SMTP Port: Typically, this will be 587.
- Encryption: Use TLS.
3. Enter IMAP Credentials and Settings:
- If you are connecting a Gmail/Google Workspace inbox, you need to create an App Password. Follow the steps mentioned in the article 'How to generate an app password in Gmail?' to complete this process.
Once you've completed these steps, MailOptimal will be able to send emails using your Brevo account.
